  • Maree Thompson (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)
    Senior Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist

    Maree commenced working at the Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics in March 2009. Since then she has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is keen to continue further study in the areas of surgery and behavioural issues with cats and dogs. 

    Maree's special interest lies with promoting all aspects of responsible pet ownership including nutrition, health care and breeding.  Maree has a fond spot for donkeys having once owned and bred Australian Teamsters for many years.

  • Meredith Golding (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)
    Senior Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist/Technician

    Meredith has been a part of the team at Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics & Riverina Genetics since 2008. She has dual roles, working as a technician with Riverina Genetics assisting in sheep AI programs and also offers many years of experience as a senior nurse at the Echuca and Moama clinics. She has a special interest in farm animals and the care of injured wildlife. Meredith has recently completed the NSW WIRES course. She enjoys the fact that no two days are ever the same when you work with animals!

    Away from work Meredith enjoys a busy life on the farm with her family, and is currently  training  ”Riley” the very energetic (mostly well-behaved) Boxer, and looks after “Jess”, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Meredith also cares for some sheep on the farm, while enjoying time in her garden.

  • Jacinta Henshall (Certificate II Animal Studies)
    Veterinary Nurse/Administration

    Jacinta commenced with Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics in February 2011, coming from an administrative background in commercial property management.  Like most of our staff, Jacinta's love of animals encouraged her to take up our vet nurse position and since then she has completed Certificate II in Animal Studies. 

    Jacinta lives on a hobby farm with her husband, 2 children and an array of pets including a dog, pony, 2 sheep and chickens.  Jacinta is currently on maternity leave.

  • Melissa Blain
    Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist

    Mel started work with Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics in late 2010 as a Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist. Mel is one of our Puppy Pre-School instructors and loves nothing more than seeing puppies grow up into happy, healthy and well-mannered dogs. Mel also has an interest in the large animal work we do out of the Echuca Veterinary Clinic.

    Her pets include 'Gizmo', her Arabian Cross, and her German Shepherd, 'Willis'.

  • Katrina Smith
    Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist

    Having already worked for eight years as a veterinary nurse, Kate brought a wealth of experience to her position when she commenced with the Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics in August, 2012. Kate has a special interest in animal behaviour and is one of our Puppy Pre-School instructors. Kate's other passions include emergency care and the development of weight-control clinics for our 'rounder' patients. 

    Kate's pets include two crazy guinea pigs and a young Labrador, 'Nellie', she is enjoying training.

  • Eleanor Charlton
    Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist

    Eleanor commenced with Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics in 2014 bringing with her a strong administrative background in the education system. With a genuine love of animals and compassionate nature Eleanor is a huge asset to our team and enjoys the variety of vet practice.

    Eleanor is one of our Puppy Pre-School instructors and enjoys helping new pet owners through the challenges of introducing a puppy into their homes.

  • Kristie Box (Certificate II Animal Studies)
    Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist

    Kristie commenced with Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics in March 2015 as a Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist. Having already completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies Kristie's goal of working with animals has now come to fruition, teamed with her customer service and administrative background Kristie has slotted into the clinic quickly.

    Her special interests include surgery, post surgery animal care and animal behaviour. The variety of pets at home comprise of a Maltese Terrier "Kizzy", Maltese Shihztu "Marley", Domestic Short Hair Cat "Kitty" and 3 budgies.

  • Michelle Medlicott
    Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist

    Michelle commenced with Echuca-Moama Veterinary Clinics in April 2015 as a Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist. With a desire for a career change from her horticultural background and a lifelong affinity with animals of all types, shapes and sizes the veterinary clinic is a great fit for Michelle.

    Michelle's special interest compasses all aspects of surgery. Pets at home include a Jack Russell "Spot", Blue Heeler "Roxy", Cats "Ally" and "Dobbie", Indian Ringnecks Birds "Skreech" and "Tweet" and a Blue Tongue Lizard "Boomer".
